New visa application fees from today

On 28 February 2011 the UK Border Agency announced proposals to increase visa application fees from April 2011 for certain visa categories. These include for visits, settlement and points-based system categories, including Tiers 1, 2 and 4.

The new fees take effect from today, 6 April 2011.
