During a family celebration, an invitation can be sent to another family in order to ask for their presence in such occasion. This invitation letter is casual in nature and it must be complete in details about the said gathering or event.

With so much joy in our hearts, my family wish to invite you and the whole Jordan family to our thanksgiving celebration. We are taking this time to thank God for all the blessings that He has given to our family. We will be arranging your housing needs as you arrive here and your transportation will also be facilitated accordingly.

The thanksgiving celebration is scheduled on the 25th of December.  Please let us know your response upon receipt of this letter. We would really appreciate it if you can inform us ahead of time so that we can cancel some of the bookings that we have made for you. I am looking forward to seeing you and the rest of your family in our place.
